SCMX Club Rules & Code of Conduct
1. Membership & Access
• Entry is for active members only.
• Guests must be pre-approved and accompanied by a member.
• Memberships are non-transferable and may be revoked for violations.
• Anyone banned is permanently barred for life — no exceptions.
2. Safety Requirements
• DOT-approved helmets, boots, goggles, and full gear required at all times while riding.
• Bikes must pass a quick safety check (brakes, throttle, no major leaks).
• Ride within your ability level — reckless riding will result in warnings or removal.
• No doubling, pit racing, or stunt riding off designated track areas.
• A parent or legal guardian is required on-site for riders under 18.
3. Track Use
• Respect posted riding schedules, flagged sessions, and track closures for maintenance.
• Follow track direction at all times.
• Beginner practice is limited to 8 bikes at once.
• 50cc practice is limited to 8 bikes at once.
• All other classes are capped at 20 bikes on the track at one time.
• Starting gate is for races only and not available for practice use.
• Ride at controlled speed in pits, camping areas, and parking zones.
• Follow all staff and flagger instructions immediately — they have final say for safety.
4. Restricted Areas & Facilities
• Back area is foot traffic only — no bikes or motorized vehicles.
• Zip line has a strict 500 lb weight limit.
• Campers, RVs, and vehicles must park in designated areas only.
• No tampering with irrigation, fencing, or track layout.
5. Behavior & Conduct
• Zero tolerance for fighting, threats, harassment, or disrespect toward staff, members, or other riders.
• Drugs, alcohol, or impaired riding are strictly prohibited.
• Parents/guardians are responsible for the conduct and supervision of minors.
• Pick up after your animals.
• Take home all trash you bring — leave SCMX as clean as you found it.
6. Vehicles & Property
• All members must respect club equipment, facilities, and land.
• Unauthorized use of tractors, water trucks, or tools is not permitted.
7. Liability & Waivers
• Every member and guest must sign a liability waiver before riding.
• Riding is inherently dangerous — SCMX is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property damage.
• Medical insurance is the responsibility of the rider/parent.
8. Enforcement
• First violation = warning (at staff discretion).
• Second violation = suspension of membership.
• Major violations (violence, theft, drugs, repeated recklessness) = ban for life.
